Artist's Comments

Also known as the Archangel of Death.

I wanted to use complimentary colors for this character instead of the typical grim tones, and purple and yellow seemed like an interesting combination (I used to hate that combo before, go figure!)
The atmoshere was one of the main-interests I had when painting this one; I wanted to try and use the lightning and colors to make the character look mystic.

I was invited to ImagineFX-magazine, I hope they like this picture! :excited:

Beautiful! Which is an ironic word to use when describing death, though he is an angle... and I find this to be incredibly appropriate.

Well, it kinda took me over a month because I worked on and off... and school started and all that jazz, so I wasn't able to concentrate. But I think I spent about 7 hours or so on this one.
