Aaaaand here's my all-time favourite lady, major Motoko Kusanagi!
 I first colored this picture with copics four years ago (!!!), but the old picture looks painfully horrible and ugly and just... rude towards the pretty character. XD So I took the same old lineart and decided to give it another try with Painter! But because I know the lineart-artist, ~vitna would die of horror if Motoko's face looked the same as in the old drawing, I decided to have some mercy and repainted the whole face by myself (eek!). im watching GITS SAC now actually ... gotta say, i was surprised when you said who it was! Maybe its something that happens later in the series but ... so far, its seeming like a big leap in imagination!
good pic though
And in the series she's drawn in many different styles actually, none of which look like the original manga-style, so I'm all ok with her face being more realistic-inspired than in the series, movies or comics.
