I haven't been on dA in a long time, and I checked back to see where some of my favourite artists are doing. You've grown so much. Your stuff before was amazing, don't get me wrong. But I see you've explored so many other dimensions with this. It's beautiful!

I kept a break from DA too (for like 2 years I think?), I didn't really have anything to submit and I was a little lost as far as digital art was concerned...
I think this is a good change from the older art, and to be honest I do feel happy about making pieces that are all my own and not collabs. It's such a different feeling, and I have the fantastic freedom to change the piece as I go, add things, change things... to create a result that I find interesting. Or to even change the whole 'plot' of the picture on a whim.
I think it's great that you can have that control and see a painting as even more organic. It's mood and tone can change depending on small elements, and that's really an adventure. So I'm really happy you're getting into and enjoying it fully!
