Preparing for the Show

'Past her prime', some would say when they see her slipping to the backstage in her mundane everyday look. Yet as she puts on her dazzling outfit and steps on to the stage, she takes everyone's breath away with her skillful performance, showing off all the precise maneuvers she has spent many years perfecting. 
My first entry to Character Design Challenge, the theme being Burlesque-dancer! I wanted to paint a more mature woman getting dressed for the show, with determination and confidence. She knows she's good and she will put on one hell of a show!
